The church maintains a food pantry to handle requests from persons in the community who are in need.

The third Sunday of each month is Food Pantry Sunday, and Good Shepherd members support this ministry by donating non-perishable food. Periodically, excess food is donated to Harvest Hope Food Bank, God's Storehouse, and Hannah House.

Needed Items

There is always a need for peanut butter, canned meat, and rice. Soups, stews, canned fruits, and canned vegetables are also given out weekly.

Hours of Distribution

Wednesday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. To receive food you must call the office in advance on Monday or Tuesday, and someone will have a bag prepared for you.
